For teenagers and young people
Being a teenager is a time of rapid change, a period of life that can be as exciting and fun as it can be complex. As a result it can be tough for some young people to navigate these new waters. It can be just as tricky for parents to adjust to this and know when to lean in and when to provide independence. Talking with a psychologist can provide a space for a young person to explore these issues in a confidential setting. The type of issues we assist with at Nest Psychology include
friendship problems
school refusal
mood changes
disengagement at school
self harm and risk
managing parental separation and divorce
social media and gaming use
identity
grief and loss
